Mineral Makeup
I've always loved makeup but ever since I gave birth I've been so conscious about chemicals in beauty products. Chemicals can get into breastmilk and since I'm still breastfeeding I've gone organic everything. If you've gone to Healthy Options you know 1. That they do have organic beauty products but they're so expensive! 2. The beauty products in Healthy Options do not include makeup, save for the occasional burt's bees lip balm.
So thanks to my friend I found out that they're selling Mineral Makeup in the Philippines na. (I was contemplating on buying online, patay na naman ang credit card).
Mineral Makeup is basically chemical free and hypoallergenic cosmetics (Though products like mineral veil contain parabens which I avoid).
There are several products to choose from. There's Bare Escentuals (BE) which you can find here and Everyday Minerals (EM) which you can find here.
I've bought BE since I didn't know EM was available here yet. But I want to try EM because it even has less chemicals. No parabens whoopeee! The local distributor for BE is Claude at 09228825283 and for EM is here

i used barenaturals, my pimple free face is now full of blemish, non stop pimple after 3 mos of using it, when I used it, my face become oily that I need to reapply over and over, I thought mahihiyang ako pero lumala lang. grabe, huhu, i swear i wont use mmu again ;(

There was probably something in the MMU that caused you to break out :(
Maybe you should go to a dermatologist to immediately erase the blemishes and scars.

Hi! I used and bought my MMU through Bellissima Trucco Minerale in US. Through online and shipped via USPS Priority Mail and I received my package door-to-door after 5days. Ang formulator is an Irish based in Rhode Island, USA. Maganda ang coverage and 100% all-natural. Ang concealer nya Universal one shade lang and applicable sa lahat.I learned so much from Ms. Judy Hogan (owner) very accommodating and super bait. Bihira lang ang ganito na makakausap mo thru email yung mismong owner/formulator. I got lots of freebies including baby kabuki, soap, eye shadow, shimmer, bronzer, foundation, blush basta freebies galore.
No Bismuth, No fillers like Kaolin Clay, Waxes, Fragrances, Rice Powder, Starch, Dyes, Parabens..

If your package is sent by registered mail, you have to claim it at the post office but you can use any valid government issued photo ID to claim your package. It's usually the unregistered packages which get sent directly to your house (if they arrive at all, alam mo naman postal system dito sa atin:p)

I got mine from a newly opened shop in BF Paranaque, VitaminWorld. They have Physician's Formula brand of mineral make-up from the US. I tried using the loose powder and blush last week, and all my girl officemates said that my skin looked great and I looked "blooming" that day. Haha! I told them the secret and now they all have their own Physician's Formula make-ups. The brochure of VitaminWorld says that they may be reached at 0917 5272339.

hi tricia! suesh has softer kabukis than charm. my latest discovery is Elegant minerals. they have soft high quality brushes but quite expensive like suesh.
I need advice on makeup brushes. Which one has a better kabuki brush? Suesh or Charm? Or can you recommend another kabuki brand thats really soft and dense available locally and is about the same price as Suesh and Charm? Thanks :)
one of the best one-stop shop is BARENATURALS.MULTIPLY.COM it's my first mmu shop and i never tried other shops, i think andito na lahat so i dont find any reason to switch to other brands.
They have the best primer, best liptints,super dooper soft brushes (love them!!!) generelly they carry really affordable products. The mineral makeup foundation works really great and nice packaging in gold matte jars too! ang gaganda ng blushes, dupe of some popular brands...i asked the owner, only the foundation, blush, brushes, e/s, setting powder are imported from the US, the liptints, primer and lipgloss are made by a chemist friend nya who used to work for a popular brand, i think it's VMV, so the philosophy works along great pa din, kaya comparing the liptints and gloss to its US counterparts, they're really more affordable, good-quality din.

dolores- try beautybox.multiply.com...but i think they've stopped distributing babydoll and they distribute ellana minerals now. am trying ellana and its okay.cant compare it thoug to other mmus because i havent tried other brands. but so far, ellana is good for me.i have sensitive skin and prone to breakouts but ellana doesnt give me any problems.
Elegant Minerals---their foundies are the best i've tried! Good thing they have it here na. all Elegant Minerals products worked great on my skin. im prone to acne kase because of puyat but when i started using MMU naminimize naman sya. Elegant Minerals mineral rice powder works best for oily and acne prone skin. Im also hiyang with sheer mineral. Sheer mineral foundies are also good but its much costly. and have you guys tried Mineralogie? nagpabili kase ako from my friends in australia eh, i just wanna try them. :) cant wait to recieve my first batch of orders.

hi reena! i went to posh and glam website and they dont have luminare there. They only have Elegant Minerals which they exclusively distribute here. I havent used Luminare yet, is it from the states also? coz i only want mmu's from the states... coz if its locally produced, you will never be so sure if its safe. I wanna give Elegant Minerals a try since its affordable and doesnt contain bismuth and parabens wch im scared of. eep!

vblink: mineral makeup isn't as mainstream here in the philippines as l'oreal or maybelline (which is available in most groceries) however, it has a very loyal cult following brought about mostly by the internet :)
i think the most popular colors would be from the fair to medium range and with yellow undertones.
